This is my flesh
Just as flawed as ever
This is you on your back
While I stare out at the past
Well damn it, if it were perfect
I’d rest my eyes for a second
Maybe I wouldn’t fester
With every squeaking wheel
Putting meaning behind things
Without meaning
Glorifying pain and always yearning
Kept away in my back pocket
Rattling away while I touch back up
With the surface
If I catch the breeze, my feet are burning
If I wish real big, I only lose more
All Ive wanted out of this
What I’ve seen on the greener side
What I’ve meant to say or do
To become something I believe in

This one also took me a while to get into. It strikes me as less HC than Untitled and less poppy than Ultrapop (stupid I know). Let's call this the No Wave record. Its musical (and amusical) density is matching the persistent sound in my head right now. barnaby nygren
